Warszawska Galeria Stalowa zaprasza na wernisaż zbiorowej wystawy ,,Pejzaż miejski'', który odbędzie się 2 września, o godz. 18:00. Zaprezentowane zostaną prace piątki malarzy: Pawła Słoty, Marii Kiesner, Zbigniewa Blukacza, Artura Przebindowskiego i fotografika Andrzeja Koniakowskiego. Są oni przedstawicielami młodego i średniego pokolenia twórców.

Malarstwo pejzażowe od stuleci zajmowało się przedstawianiem widoków natury lub wsi, właściwie od XVIII wieku zdarzały się weduty, czyli widoki miejskie, głównie Wenecji. Właściwie wiek XX przyniósł styl pejzaży wielkomiejskich, co oczywiście wiązało się z dynamicznym rozwojem wielkich aglomeracji. Malarze, a także fotograficy i filmowcy prześcigali się w próbach oddania specyficznego charakteru pejzaży miejskich i to zarówno tzw. topograficznych, czyli oddających w konwencji realistycznej obraz miast, ale i wizyjnych, fantastycznych, odnoszących się do pewnych konkretnych i rzeczywiście istniejących elementów, lecz jako całość stanowiących oryginalną wizję artysty. Takie właśnie są obrazy zebrane na wystawie Pejzaż miejski. Pozornie przedstawiające widoki miast, konkretnych ulic czy domów, w istocie jednak będące swobodną kreacją, tworem wyobraźni artystów – malarzy i fotografika.
