„Każdemu głodnemu dać jeść, bezdomnemu miejsce, a nagiemu odzież. Jak nie można dużo, to mało.”, św. Brat Albert
Parlament i Rada UE ustanowiły rok 2010 Europejskim Rokiem Walki z Ubóstwem i Wykluczeniem Społecznym. W związku z tym wydarzeniem, Zarząd Główny Towarzystwa Pomocy im. św. Brata Alberta organizuje plenerową wystawę fotograficzną „ NIE-WYKLUCZENI. Odcienie szarości” przedstawiającą pasje osób bezdomnych. Poprzez wystawę pragniemy pokazać, jak istotnym elementem życia człowieka są pasje, które nie tylko pozwalają oderwać się od codzienności, ale też dają szansę przetrwać w najtrudniejszych momentach. Dając radość i spełnienie, pasje integrują osoby wykluczone społecznie i motywują je do działania.
Uroczyste otwarcie wystawy odbędzie się 10 maja 2010 r. o godzinie 13.00, na wrocławskim Rynku przy pomniku Aleksandra Fredry. Otwarciu towarzyszyć będzie zbiórka pieniędzy. Ekspozycja na Rynku będzie trwała do 24 maja 2010 r. W dniach 25 maja–20 czerwca będzie można ją oglądać w Arkadach Wrocławskich. Następnie, wystawa zostanie pokazana m.in. w: Łodzi, Katowicach, Dębicy, Gdańsku, Inowrocławiu oraz Jeleniej Górze.
Patronat nad wystawą objęli: Krajowy Koordynator Europejskiego Roku Walki z Ubóstwem i Wykluczeniem Społecznym, Sekretarz Stanu Ministerstwa Pracy i Polityki Społecznej – Jarosław Duda, Marszałek Województwa Dolnośląskiego – Marek Łapiński oraz Prezydent Wrocławia – Rafał Dutkiewicz.
Patronat medialny nad imprezą objęły:Foto.com.pl, Gazeta Wrocławska, Pryzmat oraz Radio Wrocław.
Sponsorami wystawy są: Wrocławskie Zakłady Zielarskie Herbapol S.A. oraz Arkady Wrocławskie.

Informacje o Towarzystwie
Towarzystwo Pomocy im. św. Brata Alberta istnieje od 1981 roku. Jest niezależnym stowarzyszeniem dobroczynnym realizującym cele w duchu swojego Patrona św. Brata Alberta. Będąc jedną z największych i zarazem jedną z najstarszych Organizacji Pożytku Publicznego w Polsce, udziela pomocy osobom skrajnie ubogim – przede wszystkim bezdomnym. Walczy z wykluczeniem społecznym i stereotypowym postrzeganiem osób bezdomnych. Towarzystwo realizuje swoje cele poprzez zakładanie i prowadzenie schronisk dla mężczyzn, schronisk dla kobiet i matek, noclegowni, domów pogodnej starości, hospicjów oraz jadłodajni. W każdej placówce osobom potrzebującym udzielana jest pomoc medyczna, psychologiczna, prawna, a także wparcie duchowe.
